Still unsure of whether the trek into the mountains to the monkey park would be worth it, since it was a beautiful day with nothing else on the to-do list for us to explore in this region, we decided to give the monkey park a go, and I'm very glad we did.

... As a result it was the most uncomfortable train ride of the trip so far. With no spare seats together Charlotte and Angela had to sit with a Japanese businessman each, and Veronica and I sat together with Isabelle on our knee for the 55 minute train ride.

... a decent snow storm roll in, so with the sun gone down, and the temperature now dropped easily below freezing in the wind, I took Charlotte and Angela for a walk back towards the train station, through the lightly falling snow, to the 7/11 for a selection of dishes and sandwiches for dinner.
