For the last day we decided we had to travel up the valley to Happo, site of the 1998 Japanese Winter Olympics. The day was absolutely perfect and one of the best days skiing I've done with perfect skiing conditions. We met with Adam and warmed up on the green runs and the bottom before headed up the mountain. We did a few green runs before finally getting to the top. There was ...

... finished up with 2 knackered kids. Sinead had left the video recorder on the table in the restaurant and went back and there it was surrounded by hundreds of students. Great culture in Japan.

We got back to the resort and the kids played with their Aussie mates and we enjoyed some adults beers and 2 for 1 burgers followed by Mt Fuji chocolate lava cake which parents didn't get a sniff ...
