    ... coming in lower and greyer and just as we got in the van it started to rain a bit. For lunch we went to a local place and had an absolute feast. Home made soba which were cold, you dip into a soy type sauce with shallots and wasabi and slurp them up, fried marinated tofu, tempura vegies and dipping sauce as well as some nasty little fishy things which I tried then gave away.     ... who are working in Nagoya at an international school. We were dropped at a restaurant that has all sorts of small dishes to try and many types of drinks.     ... yummy looking snacks so on the way down had to buy some to try. First was a giant rice cracker with black sesame, very nice. Next were some steamed buns, similar to Chinese style but a bit flatter. I had a red bean paste one and an eggplant and Scott had a red bean paste and a vegetable. They were delicious.     ... next to a group of them, they just looked at me and looked away and kept doing what they wanted. I had always wanted to see them with the icicles hanging off their faces and managed to get a photo one who had them, gorgeous.     ... us much. We decided to go for a little walk around the area. It looked as though there was a park and a few temples which turned out to be a cemetery and a few temples. It was quite nice walking through it with blobs of snow on the ground. Some of the plots were quite historical with information about the people there.
