... had to part ways with my wonderful ski peeps, and today it was back to Tokyo. Tonight I am staying in a capsule hotel, which is a very strange experience so far, but I will elaborate more on that tomorrow night.

A huge thank you and hug and kiss to Lys, Pat, Tilly, Abhi, Mel, Tash, Dyl, Micko and everyone else for helping to make the ski holiday very memorable and heaps of fun! I will miss you all.

... one point. I was tired and my skis didn't turn in time when I was skiing powder in the trees, and I hit a branch sticking out of the powder with with my right knee. The branch actually broke with a huge crack, and Pat managed to get most of it on GoPro. Luckily my knee was stronger than the branch, so the tree came off second best, but I do have a nice big bruise as evidence.  Sorry for the abbreviated entry, I'm pretty exhausted trying to keep up with the boys! Speak again ...

... quiet here at the moment, things will pick up soon when people start arriving so I'm pretty stoked for that :) it's going to be exciting, ad I'm definitely looking forward to meeting my team.

As for the moment, I'm a "living for the weekend" kinda gal until the season kicks off, and seeing as there ain't much happening and still no snow, spent the last two days hiking ...

    ... to spend the day here learning new tricks.

    After 3 hours or so I decided to get something to eat. The restaurant was very warm inside and I needed to take off most of my ski gear in order to be comfortable. I ordered a plate of vegies and a steak medium rare. It was a great meal and I felt tired afterwards.
