... everything else was closed and the buildings weren't so very pretty. Still, we felt proud of ourselves for successfully negotiating the metro system.

The hotel's Japanese restaurant was full, so 3 of us, single ladies, had a very indifferent meal in their Chinese restaurant. Those who managed to get into the Japanese restaurant had an excellent, but at 80 each, a very pricy supper. At least ours didn't cost much.

... as we drove to a Wasabi farm. Here we attended a cookery course to make wasabi pickles, which was fun, but I think the finished product will probably end up in the bin.
