On my way back from Toei, I stopped by at Horaiji. The main tourist attraction of Horaiji was the Horaiji Temple and Horaisan Toshogu Shrine complex. I paid 500 yen for parking and walked down to Horaisan Toshogu. It was obviously a building for Hanamatsuri, accommodating only about 100 people including a music band made up of Japanese flute and drum players. The dance hall was smoky, because there was a large fireplace just beside it which enabled spectators to have a warm.

... To be honest, the exhibitions on the first floor were boring, but those on the basement were outstanding. Especially, the movable diorama and video "Sekigahara, the Decisive Battle" was superb and I watched the eight-minute-long video twice. Unfortunately, it was prohibited to take a picture in the museum and it is a shame that I cannot show you how great it was.

... There was a strange shaped tree there, which reminded me of Ta Prohm of Angkor Wat. (The trees in Ta Prohm was much, much bigger, though.)
