      ... at the JR train station the tourist information staff showed me a sign saying that 200 metres up the road is another tourist information with English speaking staff. For ordering a meal in a restaurant it was crucial that they have pictures on their menu. Paying in a super market meant handing over notes with both hands, nod and smile to what they say.       ... also from different prefectures. In the next morning, before I left the venue, I had had oden at the food stall of the hall and it was the best oden I had ever tasted. All in all, I had a wonderful time and now I am a big fan of Hanamatsuri, hoping to go back there next year.
