After bells it was dessert time. We had this cornstarch/water/sugar paste covered in different items like red beans, sesame seeds, and what looked like grounded gramcrackers. It was another chewy texture and semi sweet.

... my home has air conditioning units in every room, flat screen tvs, prints, fax machines, tatami mats galore etc etc. Carolyn`s homestay is over 160 years old and very traditional. It was interesting to see all of the little rooms and nic knacks that one can accumulate over time. After getting a tour, her homestay mom offered us a banana, tea and Japanese treats for a snack.

Today for dinner we (Kuzuko and myself) went with Mr. Hoya to all you can eat sushi! Conveyer belt sushi! You can pull something premade off the belt or use the tablet at your table and order something. The order then comes on a little electronic car out to your seat. It was awesome and yummy!
