Today was a total mixed bag of weather but the sun shone bright in the afternoon. Everyone really put in a great effort today and ventured onto bigger and better slopes. ... almost untouched powder in rugged and exciting scenery. It only took us about 5 minutes to ski down most of the mountain, but then about another 2 hours to ski out of the backcountry, an experience that we all found a little tiring and frustrating at times, but also incredibly beautiful. I'm currently just over halfway through my ski holiday in Niseko with the lovely Alyssa Courtney and friends and family. What an incredible and epic place to ski!
