    I met Koji, whilst having dinner in a restaurant. We decided to do a road trip to Kamikochi and the sightseeing spots around the highlands.

    Had an amazing day,the weather was playing along and travelling in a car for a change felt just like heaven :)

    We finished the day off, by soaking in an outdoor hot spring. What more can you want!?! :)

    Spend around 4 nights in Matsumotta, used it as a base to do the Magome- Tsumago Trail, Kamikochi and the Wasabi farm

    The hostel I stayed in, had a great escape plan, one route was the front door, the other through a window, unfortunately someone would need to cut back all the trees+ plans in order to have a quick escape :)

    ... have a stupid 2.5 hour layover followed by another tedious 2.5 hour flight. I know I’m being impatient. I know I should just be thankful that I’m finally on my way to Japan in the first place, but right now I’m a grump and I’m tired of traveling.
