    Today was one of my favorite days! I started poorly at 2:30 am when I woke up feeling like i had to puke. Thank goodness I brought "Whenever Bars" with me. I ate one and had some water and felt a little better.

    Today we went Mountain hiking. We were in the Japan Alps hiking Hakuba Mountain. We had to take 3 gondolas up to a high spot in the mountains before we even began hiking. It was a cloudy day on and off but wonderful none ...

    ... The sheet music the recreated themselves so that it was color coded to the bells so that you knew which bell to play when! I wish all sight reading was that easy.

    After bells it was dessert time. We had this cornstarch/water/sugar paste covered in different items like red beans, sesame seeds, and what looked like grounded gramcrackers. It was another chewy texture and semi sweet.

    ... cupcakes that look like burgers. It wasn’t the same as home but still nice to celebrate. We had to leave early to get Allyce to the bus stop. I wish we hadn’t taken the long way. I could have went back after getting Allyce to the bus since the party was so close to my homestay. But since it was 10pm at that point I didn’t want to be rude. So home I went.

    ... with my mom. Because my brother didn’t know what he was doing I couldn’t see her face but I could hear her voice and that was good enough for me. It was really helpful to hear her voice.
