A quick glance at where my JR pass could take me made me decide upon Sendai. I prepared for the journey, packing my laptop, my ear buds, the documents I needed to travel, and a bottle of water.

And we read the signs advising where to run (up!) when the next tsunami hits. The next day we were back in Sendai preparing for takeoff, which takes hours of visiting different places in the airport getting papers signed and stamped. And then the next day is actual departure.

We immediately were exploring the island that was accessible by the bridge and to capture some of the pictures when the sun was setting.
The hotel and onsen were really nice and the meal was excellent. All variety of sea food nicely prepared overlooking the bay -- just nice
