As we didn't have far to go today, we packed up at a leisurely pace. Once on the road we stopped off in Marathon to get groceries for our next 3 days of chilling out, before arriving at Long Key S.P. early afternoon. When we asked how bad the mosquitoes were, the ranger told us that there were none, they had all been eaten by the no-see-ums!

When we woke the next morning the cold front had arrived as advertised. Winds were brisk out of the north at 20-25 knots. White caps were clearly visible around the side of Pumpkin Key, but we were well protected due to our well planned anchoring placement the day before.
