Katoomba is the base town that most people stay to do the Blue Mtns. We wanted to stay in the Flying Fox but it was fully booked by the time we got there. We stayed in Katoomba YHA instead and it is one of the nicest YHA hostels I have ever stayed in. I usually try to avoid YHA hostels as they are usually a bit sterile and devoid of atmosphere. ...
