Well it's the first day being temporarily unemployed. Feels weird knowing I won't be going back to the hospital to work. Got a lot accomplished. My passport arrived finally. We got the hitch installed and the trailer reserved. We got to spend the morning with sweet friends and their 12 horses and numerous cats. Had a blast feeding carrots and apples to the horses. We made it to Knoxville around 7 PM. There was a couple of spots of traffic and a couple of rain showers, but all in all, it was a pretty uneventful day. Kegan ...

A travel blog entry by d.thorpe on May 15, 2014

(Remember 2 months ago at the start of the trip when this site crashed and I had to post 2 entries on Facebook? These are said entries, a couple of months late, but better than never, and at least now it round out the blogs nicely and fills in that gap)
So, Tuesday was the day we set out on the road and were left to our own devices, despite j's expert navigation, I managed to miss 2 important exits which added a bit of time. We got in to ...
