... a photo. Next we went to area 51 zone which really scared the kids. Tawney and miller would not move past the gift shop as it was too dark and there was too many aliens! Who would have thought that area 51 would have aliens! Satira "bravely" walked through with me, an when I say bravely I mean held my arm and hid behind me the whole time. Who ever designed it did it with humour, they set up little scenes with aliens. ...

Absolutely beautiful drive into Santa Fe the grey clouds parted and all we could see was blue skies, sunshine and beautiful scenery through the San Verde Crista mountains.....listening to the lighthouse family High and looking out of the window at the beautiful scenery as we drove down the 180 mile open road was a memory and moment ...
... is true, "Old truck drivers never die, they get Peterbuilt", because this parking lot has a large number of Peterbuilt trucks and old crusty looking gents. The rest of the town appears to be nothing but old abandoned buildings for the most part. Still, on this stretch of road, I get to a sign welcoming me to the outskirts of Carlsbad, NM, home of Cody Ross. Since I have no idea who this guy is, I immediately have to assume he is a sports figure ...
... it impossible for anybody but me to sit in the car. No hitchhikers! Too many movies we had seen about what happens when you pick up hitchhikers, I guess!
