Last Friday I went to a local bar where there was a band performing, the Nova Hearts. They are a band from Beijing, but they sing english music, their music is like alternative and techno. Any way, they were amazing. After that I met up with some friends at a KTV. KTV is a karaoke place expect you rent your own room! There were lots of English music too so it was a lot of fun! Really, it would grow back but I am very attached to my long hair and the thought of it being chopped off was terrifying. I went with a fellow teacher during our lunch break. ... just no where near the caliber of the Japanese. They push, cough on you, are dirty, and just do not have any manners. Not to mention the food, I have had some delicious meals here, but nothing like Japan. Perhaps I am being to ******* the Chinese people, there are people who are very nice and helpful as I have learned but still the majority of Chinese people I have encountered have very poor 'manners.' I am starting to enjoy cooking again. It took me a little while to ...
