We've done lots of road trips and never have we had the challenges of just getting away from home as we did this week. We were supposed to leave the 1st and finally got away the 4th. First Isabelle came home from a missions trip in Mexico with lice. The delousing requires a lot of laundry; in the midst of that the wash machine broke.
After that the hot water heater didn't want to be upstaged ...
Today is the day! I leave for China tonight. I am so excited to start this amazing journey again! The teaching opportunities that I have been given are life changing! Up next: Orlando!

We left home June 4th, after a flurry of property renovations and business tasks and problems, traveling only as far as Seffner, FL. We camped at a LazyDays campground to catch our breath and sort things out while our RV was washed & waxed. Our engine battery needed replacing and we shopped for new camp chairs at Camping ...

... the day of the flight. It was actually a textbook flight
arriving at the gate about 10 minutes early. I was at the hotel about
12:15, although my room was not quite ready. After a bit of grocery
shopping and lunch the room was ready and I worked on some last minute
