... I happily complied.

The next photo is of me with an artillery shell from the USS Alabama. My caption needs a bit of explanation, though. I DO own a WWII practice shell that's about 20" tall. I call it my "bullet," and bought it at a yard sale some years ago. So . . . this bullet is bigger than mine.

... that the dragonfly wasn't about to let me get HIS butterfly! Never thought much about what dragonflies eat. Now we know at least ONE item on their diets.

We went back to the other side of the swamp, and got a couple of good pix of George. We won't tell him, but I think Carl is a much handsomer bird!

... the fort, and loving it. Gonna attach some pix made in the fort, then after that, some of Josh and myself walking around the beach. Josh saw a guy catch a shark!!! (Well, that sounds a bit dramatic for a fish about 18" long. They did throw the poor thing back, after everyone made its picture.)

After we got back to the condo, Josh went out into the water.

... right? We had been faithful all Feast and here we were stuck without a vehicle, barely able to get it back to the shop. Turns out it needed a new alternator as well, which brings us to our current state. We have had no choice but to stay two extra nights, and may be needing to stay an additional night to get our car up to standards.

Did I mention we were pretty much car-less all Feast? We had to ride with my in-laws anywhere we needed or wanted to ...

... House 1870 (the one stuccoed and scored with a brick front) is a two story home. The townhouse was very popular after the Civil War. It is thought that the elaborate two story cast iron porch was added on at a later date.
