    ... National Road, now route 40. The Mount Washington Tavern was a stagecoach stop for early settlers. Today it is a museum dealing with life along the Road.

    Since we got there late in the afternoon, we did not get a chance to tour the museum, but we did get to see the fort and see a video about it's history. There was also a playground for kids and old ***** acting like kids.

    ... navigation. Now, white water rafters relish it. Ohiopyle State Park has many hiking trails, some of which we intended to hike, but the recent downpours rendered them too muddy. So we walked along a graveled bike trail and enjoyed the views and fellow adventurers.
