The reason we came to Farmington was to see Frank Lloyd Wright's "Fallingwater", one of his most widely acclaimed works. Fallingwater was designed in 1935 for the family of Pittsburgh department store owner Edgar J. Kaufmann. His family included his wife and son, Edgar Jr.
