This is a small hillock in the south of Nanjing where legend has it that an young monk named Yunguang started preaching and raindrops fell from the heavens and rested as agate stones on the ground.

It later became an execution ground for the Nationalists when Nanjing became their capital in 1927 and it is alleged that 100,000 communists, intellectuals and peasants were murdered here by the Kuomintang.

It was great, the boys would love it! After tea, I brought the twins home to pack for Hong Kong, while Steve and Simon took the boys to the movies. Although lacking in the present department, I think Sam had a good ...

... survived. The rescue efforts have made news headlines hourly for the week. So sad. So many deaths L Investigations will continue until blame can be laid, and the person at fault will likely be executed.

Today we had a visit from Bjorn and the kids (Danish), and had Tepinyaki for dinner with the Whartons (British). I love that we are making friends from all over the world – wonderful people with amazing ...
