... a container of divine chilli oil..absolutely yummy. And since it was a diaphragm-splinting meal we went back to the hotel and I had a nap... In the evening we went for a walk around Mongkok...crowded narrow streets, hole-in-the-wall food places with live frogs awaiting their fate, the smells of food (a lot of that!) and horrors, a camera (mine) that wasn't working!!! ... to McDonalds for coffee (It is good and cheapest there). My headache was getting much worse so we caught the train back to Central and went back to the hotel.

... 15 minutes. We expected lasers and searchlights. But there were only two sporadic lasers.

Most of the buildings had some sort of lighting. One smaller tower, only about ten stories, kept showing various advertising videos for H&M Clothing. Its next door neighbor was advertising various Samsung products near its roofline. Another building had a light display outlining its edges.

Another beautiful day, where we headed out to Sai Kung - a gorgeous spot - reminded me a bit of Phuket. Lots of green trees etc, beautiful water and interesting restaurants. A lot had fresh seafood outside where you could pick and they would cook for you. We went to one of these (but didn't have any seafood!) - but it would have to be up there as the best meal for the trip, and reasonably priced too. Still really love xiao long ...
