Wandering around the town
Today was a quiet exploration, Slept in till 10am, and a lazy start, not setting off til almost noon.
I walked down the main thuroughfare in Huxi to a tailors shop to get a tear in a pair of trousers repaired, which will have to hold until I get to Hong Kong and can find European sizes of trousers... I only brought 3 pairs of trousers, expecting to buy more once I got here, but nope, the largest size they have are 38 in any city I have been in, I wear 42...

Another city, Another hotel...
... the centre of town, stopping at a hole-in-the-wall food servery for noodles and jiaozi on the way, and found this cyber cafe mentioned in the 2008 LP guide to still be open.
In a bit once I'm finished here and on a few forums, I'll wander out and find another stall for something more substantial and then head back to the hotel for an early night to recoup from all the late night outings in Zhongshan.

The shopping was awesum jade, tea sets, and gems fabulous.

... Gorges boat trip. Almost all of the towns along the river are modern and hideously ugly. They look almost as dead as the Ghost City we passed the day before. From the boat they appear to simply be collections of gray highrise buildings. There doesn't even seem to be any infrastructure linking them together. No parks or even many roads.
