... by an old Art Deco building, we had to vear off the beaten track, to the old police station's car park. The old police station was the Art Deco building, but had only been in use from 1929 - 1970. It was now an art exhibition called SPARC, which had some spectacular artistic murals painted along the walls of the building and car park. ... was beautiful and the display of aircraft was awesome! It was hard to believe that when I walked the entire length of the deck that it was all 3 inch armoured steel plate and not concrete! After we had finished with the tour we headed north to Los Angeles and tried to find somewhere reasonably priced, safe and nice enough to stay! After a 10 hour flight that included dinner (curry chicken and rice), a couple movies, sleeping, music and passing time, we arrived LAX at 12:35 p.m., terminal 2, gate G-26, the same gate we left from.

Our anticipation of a long line at customs and immigration was relieved as we passed through in 30 minutes.
