Boston is the capital and largest city of the state of Massachusetts. A new place to visit for all of us. Most importantly Boston is the home of the Red Sox, Cheers Bar and Harvard. But as well as that, Boston is also one of the oldest cities in the United States, Boston was founded in 1630 by colonists from England and was the scene ...

Well today was packed with learning and meeting people. First off I finally met Marianne, whom I have been emailing for months and what a fab lady she is. Very knowledgable, part of the International Team and runs the Perkins Educational Leadership Programme, which is for people from all over the world. I discovered I am not alone on my visit, there is another colleague here, who is the principal of a School for the Blind/VI in Australia, about 45 minutes outside Melbourne. ...

I learned a lot about myself as a person, friend and believer. I learned about ...

... depressing! Perfect example happened today. We got about 5 inches of snow overnight and then continued in the morning. It was a good kind of heavy snow, the awesome packing type, and looked so beautiful when I left my apartment at 8am. Walking in it was admittingly difficult, albeit lack of removal, but it was still doable. When returning home 6.5 hours later, everything was already melting and slushy, leaving a huge mess and giant puddles of freezing water. ...

    Love: musical venues

Love love love for this city full of musical venues and talent. So much talent is fostered here and so much famous talent comes back to share with this city. I know that my favorite artists travel and play in cities across the globe, but something about seeing a show in Boston fills me with joy!

After seeing Amos Lee at The Orpheum tonight I am reminded of this. I love live music and there is just that on most streets ...
