    ... About 1:30pm we headed to the track (gotta remember over 100,000 people can fit into the stands for racing at Charlotte and the fan zone opened at 2pm. We parked our car reasonably close to the track and by now it was raining pretty consistently.

    ... burnt sugar maple tree charcoal to filter the whiskey, there is also a special cave and stream where they collect the water for use in the whiskey and they let the whiskey sit for 4-7 years before it gets bottled and sold. The smell in the air around Lynchburg was beautiful! (I personally don't like whiskey but boy that smell was delicious)

    We flew from Charlotte to Washington (Dulles) to Frankfurt to Vilnius, Lithuania. Whew; long day! And, they changed gates on us in Frankfurt. It is a LONG way from B23 to A48!
