    ... at Twentynine Palms before driving 234kms to our overnight stay in Baker, CA. We spent about 15 mins on the famous route 66, and say the whole way "get your kicks on route 66". Our route took us through the Mojave Preservation, we didn't see any of the scenery (it was dark) but we stopped roadside to check out the stars.
