Today , Oct.11,2013, Our 2nd Wedding Anniversary..Drive from Cortez to Glenwood Springs..The most scenic drive yet. Thought nothing could surpass the million dollar hwy Staying at the Historic Colorado Hotel. Dinner was a disappointment. I never complain, but lets just say,, they did not charge us. this place kind of reminds me of " The Shining " Jack Nicholson" remember?
O.K. tomorrow we will hit the hot springs..and I'm determined ...

... all our promises went out the window. You are about see the sight we never expected to see on an interstate highway. And again these photos were taken thru the windshield of our coach. I think they are amazing considering.
Posting this blog has been an ordeal. We have very weak wifi at our campground so I am now at Wendy's using their hotspot. So we will take the blogs for the next three days a day at a time and hope we can keep on schedule by finding ...
... We hiked up and up and up and stopped a lot to take photos which was really an excuse to catch our breath. We all did really good and were feeling pretty fit and spent a lot of time encouraging others to complete the hike.
We made it to the top and as always Hanging Lake and Spouting Rock were awesome. The water is so clear and the underwater formations almost take on an essence of a coral garden. We met a fun couple that were on their Honeymoon ...
... found a cool little spot to have a picnic lunch. Our traveling restaurant seems to be finding some beautiful spots to pop-up at.
After lunch we walked a short distance to the falls. They were super cool and surrounded by incredible scenery. The other aspect to this park is that it is full of caves. Some reach back as far as 90 feet. Unfortunately we did not know about the caves until we arrived so we did not have any flashlights with us. We ...
