We slept well and woke around 8am. The day was glorious and not too hot yet, so we grabbed some breakfast at Ricks (well Josh did, I had a banana - food of champions!) and head to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Spectacular scenery and a cool ride in a rotating aerial cable car. We did the Round Valley loop hike, about 5.5 miles and about 700 feet …

... workout and well worth the effort, the views were truly amazing, completely unique. Knowing we had a long drive ahead, we took off from Yosemite National Park after quick showers and make our way towards Las Vegas. The more we did now, the less we needed to do tomorrow. And after much googling, we made Brite Lake Campsite our next stop! Estimated time of arrival - ...

So we carried on to Baker. The gateway to Death Valley and 90 miles from Las Vegas....and only one motel open which stank of mucky water and cheap bleach. We walked ...

Got up at 0700, had usual breakfast of bagels with cream cheese and Cinnamon Crunchies, yum. Called into the store to get tablets for the RV **** tank as we will be dumping it today. Funnily enough a dump is the only thing we have not done in it so far as we had the facilities of the campground! Got the blue shuttle round to the Hermits Rest shuttle pick up point (red shuttle route). The bus here is not as frequent as ...
