L A at last ..
from santa barbara we took the H1 down the pretty coast road past ventura and the state park... all along this stretch the road is at the side of beach with rugged mountains to the left..separating us from the freeway the otherside..
our plan was to stop at a campsite in malibu and bus in to LA .. but we missed the site so kept going in the hope we could drive to our first port of call The Getty Museum.. this proved to be harder than we thought... ...
We're headed home......
... part of economy, our wonderful flight attendant decided to bless us with the benefits of business class and more. We were served coffee in American Airline porcelain cups and then she gave us the cups to keep as a memento. Normally in economy you have to pay for any food but she brought us delicious chocolate and strawberry sundaes as well as a double shot ...

Here I sit, at the bar, waiting for our pager to buzz to let us know that out table is free at Red Lobster. It has been a very busy day and this beer is greatly deserved. Det siste park-besøket var høydepunktet: Universal Studios Island of Adventure. Aldri har jeg vært i en så gjennomført temapark noen gang. Detaljene og utsmykningene var så gode at illusjonene ble komplette. Det var ikke slik at du glimtet baksiden av fasadene og andre ting som bevist og ubevist ofte tar bort illusjonene andre steder.
