... we returned to our room around 8:15, we found that John's luggage had NOT been delivered. He was NOT a happy camper, to say the least! A call to the tour director and the front desk and some searching by the bell staff---suitcase found and delivered before 9. A long day but the next would be more exciting as we would get up close and personal with the falls.

... it was nice and chilled, as it was getting quite warm outside. We set off walking along River street towards the falls, and we could hear them before we could see them; they were so loud!

Eventually, we could see the American Falls through the trees and underneath the bridge ahead. Amazing, but nothing compared to what we were about to see. Finally, we caught sight of the Horseshoe falls (the ones you think of when you picture Niagara Falls), and they were just ...

Many thought it was overkill until the boat got close to the horseshoe falls - then it felt as though it was very heavy rain coming down. ...

At White Water Walk you walk on a boardwalk along side the rapids. This is so amazing, the water is running at an incredible speed. Category 6 rapids are considered 'unrunnable' and dangerous. In 1912 there was a tragedy here where 3 people lost ...

We took the scenic route from Corning and arrived about 7pm. After checking in, we went a short drive to see the falls at night. So close, I knew we were because of the noise. thinking I would get wet from the spray and mist I planned and wore the well washed rain mac/poncho of my mothers... Arghhh... It was still a smoking jacket with eau de Phillip Morris embedded strongly in every warp and weft! We then drove over to the Seneca Casino ...
