      ... at the hotel. One bus was from Wisconsin. It is a big hotel and we are on the 4th floor. We unloaded our gear from the car, collected our jackets and headed off on foot to explore.

      The get to the river we had to walk down a road which was lined with food outlets and amusement activities eg Ripley's Believe it or not, Haunted House, wax works.Each one tried to have brighter neon lights and be louder than the one next door. It just looked rather tacky ...

      ... falls is amazing and there were still big patches of ice at the edges. We did the boat ride to the falls and for those who told me you have to get wet to get the full experience...............I got really wet!!! After the falls we went to a little place called Niagara on the Lake what a simply gorgeous little place, unfortunately we barely had to time have lunch and we had to leave.

      ... due to the spray that comes off the water. The poles, the fences, the road, the grass... We wanted to get inside so we headed underground to an area behind the falls to watch the water tumbling over from behind. This was awesome and a pretty unique experience to be underneath and behind a huge water fall.

      The ticket that we bought for the underground trip also gave us access to a nearby butterfly enclosure. ...

      ... Toronto we joined the rest of Canada on the road south around the Golden Horseshoe of Lake Ontario to the picturesque village of Niagara-on-the-Lake for lunch. We had time to grab some lunch and browse the shops here. The area is also known for ice wines so we did some tasting.
