      ... Falls and Bridal Veil on the American side of the border and the Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side. I think the Horseshoe Falls is the more spectacular. The Falls are capable of producing up to 4 million kilowatts of electricity which is shared by Canada and America.

      Four of the five Great Lakes drain into the Niagara River (Superior, Michigan, Huron and Erie) before flowing into Lake Ontario.

      ... near the falls - apparently they were closed last week due to the presence of large hunks of ice - I am positive I am developing chill-blains!!! But the pain was nullified the humbling presence of the monstrous amount of water thundering just above us.The rest of the area look like a fake version of Cony Island - apparently it is a huge attraction for ankle bitters in school vacation breaks.

      ... the B&B's, Whirlpool Golf Club, Butterfly Conservatory, the Botanical Gardens till we reached the Sir Adam Beck Hydro Power Plant. What a huge plant on both sides of the Niagara River generating power for both Canada and the USA.
