We are finally on way to our 16 day adventure. Everyone has been so excited. The Beast is pack with room to spare. First stop Niagara Falls. I have to type this fast because we will be in Canada shortly and I don't want to be on international minutes. yikes.
My brother has been staying with us which has been great to spend time with him. I am relieved that he will be staying with our dogs while we are gone. The dogs were freaking out. At least in ...

After dinner we walked down to the falls for the night time view and took some pictures. A raccoon scared the **** out of me when we were walking through the pitch black park! I may have screamed. Loudly.
Back at the hotel, we had a five minute discussion about what day of the week it is. We eventually decided it must be Monday. Ah, it's great to be on holidays.

Then, I came back to the hostel and my lugagges where not in my room anymore + a girl was sitting in my bed! Front desk had rent my room without knowing and all the beds were taken in the hostel, so they add a little camp bed for me in a 6 beds dorm. Lot of fun!
Finally, last and worse, in my "new room" the bathroom door was not fuctioning well, but ...
... soaked, we were all laughing our heads off! The sun came out on shore and I managed to get some lovely pictures of the rainbows created by the mist.
My final day in Niagara I got a bus pass that allowed me the chance to enjoy the hop on/hop off bus that visited lots of the local sights. I visited the gorgeous botanical gardens which also house the most amazing Butterfly conservatory where I got to watch them actually emerging from their crysalises, very cool! After that ...
