First Day!
First day of my big adventure! Pretty uneventful day. Driiving went well, got some minor cramping towards the end of the day but it was fine other than that. Not the best sightseeing weather (cloudy with some rain) but then there wasn't that much to see anyway so it was actually great for driving!

Mackinac Island, Saulte St. Marie
The morning was again, bright blue and beautiful. Perfect day for going to the Straits of Mackinac between Lake Huron and Lake Michigan, between the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan. Due to some business commitments, Barb and I will have to go back to Honolulu for two weeks in a few days.
