... Kathy showed us how the lower school operates and a number of the tools that the young people use each day. Kerry and Julia will be pleased to know they have objects of reference and they are standardised for lessons, but individualise where needed. They however use a common object for a classroom across campus and the symbol too, but not an audio cue of any sort. This afternoon with met with Betsy McGinnity who co-ordinates e-learning. Apparently Brad Pitt had sat in one of the seats in the middle of the front row which just happened to be where we were sitting, OMG! As the tour ended we found ourselves on the opposite side of the field looking back towards the batters mound and the ground seemed much larger. It was then I realised, I would never hit a ...

More Than A Feeling

Two buses this morning. Minimum stops minimum fuss. The crazies don't seem as crazy on the east coast. Not that there still aren't lots of people I wouldn't want to sit next to. But that works two ways, it seems I'm the last choice for someone to sit next to too. Must be my air of openness and hospitality. The bus from Phily terminated in NY so I got my first taste of the big apple. For a whole 50minutes inside a bus depot. Still, I got a ...
