The beginning of our trip was almost severely delayed. I was so busy with unexpected issues that had arisen that day, and that I was late taking the dog to the kennel. I arrived at 3:45, and they were closed by 3pm on Fridays. I called them. I texted them. I finally messaged them on fb. Not as awesome as I remember but still fun. The picture was dim and the bugs were plentiful. The weather was perfect though. We didn't have a lot of options so we watched San Andreas.

I was taken against my will by my posse. We packed up the house and took off for parts unknown. We drove and drove for hours and only got out once in a smelly truck stop, where I was again called upon to defend the woman of our pack.
