... 28th and after a red-eye flight and a stopover, we arrived in the US in the morning of the same day! So, this is the first time that Ben can say he's celebrated his birthday for two days in a row.

A few days after our arrival back to Denver, we celebrated Ben's birthday with a proper birthday dinner. I wanted the birthday to be special and thought to make the event Hobbit related since Ben loves Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.

... had a few minutes before heading to the airport, so we walked about as far around Echo Lake as we could. Then, in the car for the drive to the airport.

Returned rental car, shuttled to airport, went through security. Thank goodness we had Pre, because the lines were very long. Went to the club, where I worked for a bit. Then on the plane for an easy flight home. Got our bags, the car, and drove home. Gruden greeted us with whimpering.
