... expect in California--sunny and delightful; around 85-90. Ah! Warmth! So even though the pool was tiny, no matter! We all swam and enjoyed the tiny pool. Diving for pennies! Fun times! Then for dinner, the hotel recommended Johnny Garlic’s a Guy Fieri restaurant. I know who he is but we don’t really watch any of his shows--no matter! I knew food would be delicious. It WAS, and Ken even tried something called “Chicken Volcano” with a sauce! Cray-cray! ...
... pool is still closed, but the area is open. The massage parlor and the sauna are open and located in the pool enclosure.
A nature walk with Ingrid is next. She does a great job explaining the ecology of the redwoods, and makes frequent stops to answer the questions from the group and let everyone catch their breath and enjoy the scenary.
