... in Pittsfield, which was a half hour away, so called first to secure a site and then headed that way. It was 90-95 all day with high humidity, so by the time we got settled, we were both drenched. We certainly did not expect this kind of weather in September in the mountains, but one never knows. We have been told that this heat wave will break tomorrow, and we certainly hope so.
... at Kenmore Square. Our journey west begins. We drove out past BU and headed out of the city. A short while later we were in Watertown. (recently made famous for the shootout and capture of the Marathon suspects). We stopped at The Diner at 11 North Beacon and had an awesome brunch on the patio.
