... into the canyon before moving on. After miles of mountains and valleys we came to a dirt road and decided to follow it up a hill. There were found a walking trail to a mountaintop overlooking the range and area below. A short climb later we found ourselves at one of the best views of the day. Bright flowers all around, mountains sprinklers with snow, Alex and I joked that it felt like a scene from the Sound of Music. A crisp breeze swept over the mountain as we ...

... ve thought of everything an RVer needs. Every site was treed, had a picnic table and had plenty of room for your "toad". You wouldn't need a car for the in-town activities, though, since most things are within walking distance. I was glad to see so many restaurants and decided to eat out and chance that the restaurants would be able to serve me a gluten-free meal. Success!!! We ate out several times and I never got sick.

This morning we went to Mammoth Hot Springs to check out the larger geysers in the park. It's a little town built on geysers on the side of a mountain. This afternoon we saw a large heard of Elk walking through town like it was the most normal thing in the world. We drove around looking for a place to hang the hammock and rest for a bit. Found a picturesque lake in a large meadow and thought we'd found the perfect spot. We pulled off and started through ...
