      Yesterday we took Mom and Jeff up Pike's Peak. We tried to go 3 days ago, but the summit was closed due to 65 mph winds! Today the winds were only 35 mph at the summit. ��Jeff was so anxious to go. He is having a great time in CO and we are enjoying showing him the sights, We had a wonderful day.       ... br> We got into our harnesses with a lot of help from Ben and Riley and secured our helmets and piled into a van to make the 10 minute drive to the course. Our van was driven by a nice young man referred to as Chainsaw. We had a fun ride with the staff cracking jokes and Chainsaw driving really really fast.       This morning I purchased the tickets for a 2.40pm train journey up Pikes Peak using coupons I saved us $20. We rode to the railway station through the beautiful township of Manitou Springs.We boarded the train and headed for Pikes Peak the second most visited mountain in the world after Japan's Mt. Fuji.
