I again attended the annual Manlius Pebble Hill Alumni Weekend with its awesome Clambake. Much has changed in a year, including the school leadership in the face of a financial crisis. It's nothing new in the history of the school, it was what drove the merging of the two schools in the late 70’s. We rose early, had alight breakfast and were on the road by 7am. The highway was very good, light traffic most of the way and straight! We arrived in Niagara Falls around 3.30, settled in and then walked to our first views of the Falls. They are every bit as amazing as I imagined. We had dinner at Johnny Rocker's after which I retired and Rick and Mum went to the ...

... Day Weekend and on Saturday evening, I stopped in a rest stop. There was trailer there set up by the local Rotary Club offering coffee, soft drinks and snacks to drivers. I had a wonderful talk with Vicki who was manning (womanning) the trailer including where I could find a campsite for the night. There were several campgrounds nearby, but on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends it is hard to find a space without reservations. She and ...
