With much sadness we have to take our friend Barry Gersch to the airport so he can go back to the "real world". Barry is an airline pilot for Southwest Airlines and is based out of Las Vegas. He was able to schedule a flight from Syracuse, NY to make his trip to Las Vegas. We have a courtesy car from the marina and we headed to the airport to drop Barry off.

Today's activities weren't my favorite, but it was a great day for a ride. Once again the weather has been perfect! We started off the day with a tour of the Herschell Carousel Factory, where they made the wooden horses that you ride on at an amusement park carousel ride. We had breakfast at Athena's Restaurant, then we had a long ride ...

... got lunch at a “Red Robin”- awesome hamburger chain and stopped in an LL Bean store in Fayetteville. There was a farmers' market in the shopping center, heavy on the buzz-words, "organic", "vegan" and "gluten-free" along with some hookups for electric cars in the parking lot. We drove on to Cazenovia (where I had lived with my mother and grandmother during the War) via Chittenango Falls. I can remember seeing the falls several times when I was ...
