With much sadness we have to take our friend Barry Gersch to the airport so he can go back to the "real world". Barry is an airline pilot for Southwest Airlines and is based out of Las Vegas. He was able to schedule a flight from Syracuse, NY to make his trip to Las Vegas. We have a courtesy car from the marina and we headed to the airport to drop Barry off.

We headed toward the locks on the Erie Canal. We first had to lock through 7 locks in Oswego off of Lake Ontario to begin our journey down the Erie Canal. We were anxious and unsure of what to expect. Barry Gersch assured us that after we had locked the boat through 3 locks, we would be "pros" at the process.

There was a farmers' market in the shopping center, heavy on the buzz-words, "organic", "vegan" and "gluten-free" along with some hookups for electric cars in the parking lot.
