I don't know why we're so excited....check back with us in a few hours when we're STILL in Texas! We stopped on the line to gas up. We threw on our old cowboy boots and our hats and walked around the TA for a bit. We tried really hard to look like it was just another day. :-) Back to singing along at the top of our lungs to all our old country songs! PS. So far, everything seems to be the same size as it is in ...

Up until this point, Scott has yet to drive. So, finally in the morning his trainer is giving him the go ahead to get behind the wheel in order to move his first haul for a pick up at Tyson Foods. Let's hope for the best!
((Will try and update this post later on when I talk to Scott more.))

So, as of 7:15pm (Eastern) Scott is on I-20 about to hit I-10 on his way to Tolleson, AZ. ...

Merry Christmas from Louisiana! We started the day by taking a boat tour through a swamp. Because it is winter, all of the alligators are hibernating. But we did see raccoons, vultures, egrets, and great blue herons! The swamp was very neat with the Cyprus trees and other swamp plants. Our guide was a true 'cajun hillbilly' so we got to experience a bit more of the culture ...

Today we drove through Alabama, the southern part of Mississippi, and partway through Louisiana, and got to New Orleans. While driving through Mississippi, we drove along miles of white sandy beaches. In Louisiana, we drove across a bridge over huge Lake Pontchatrain. While driving through New Orleans, we saw several of the above-ground cemeteries the city is famous for. Our destination in the city was ...
