It’s only 530 nm from SCRM, but it’s in Argentina so there is some unclear issue with getting a clearance to depart Argentina for a flight to a Chilean base. I may understand this better once I arrive in the area. Obviously, making the flight from SAWH to SCRM is the shortest possible combination and the most desirable for that reason.

... we approached Oregon, there were more and more logging trucks hauling huge logs -we think they're cedar. Some logs were 4ft in diameter and most trucks could only haul 3 of them.

We stayed at the Premier RV Resort in Coburg (just north of Eugene, OR). Although a very nice facility, we had serious problems with their power supply - the 50amp plug surged power and the 30amp plug kept blowing the fuse. Nobody came to check, ...

... This had an area that Will had done some logging on recently. John’s area was clear cut area, but this was where Will does some selective thinning. He doesn’t use as much huge equipment as John and also he does his cutting with a chainsaw. They had a skidder up on the land, and Will let each of us drive it. ... will have to stay in a place tonight that has wifi. We got to the Camping World right on time. While are RV is getting the work done we of course found some things we want to buy in the store and then we hung out in the waiting room. I wish they had wifi here, but they don't so I am just typing up the blog in a word document.
