... Dan dropped me off at the Jukebox Quilt shop, which was quite small, but I found an interesting Australian print. The shop was right beside a train track and the owner was having a sale, that when you heard the train whistle you could get 40% off a yard of fabric, so I took advantage of that. We stopped at Burger King for some lunch then headed to Laramie on hwy 287. We were going to go to the train yard again to watch the trains and take some pictures, but it ...

    • I couldn't make it all the way to Colorado last night but I'm ready to be there by this afternoon
    • I had to fill up my tank a few times and restock all of my snacks

Well, tomorrow is another ...

You can never predict the winter weather in Wyoming and despite the fact that I had clear skies the whole way another factor slowed me down. Wyoming is notorious for its wind, especially so in the open grasslands in the southeastern part of the state, so much so ...

... There were a lot of kids in the main pool when we arrived around 5:00 PM, even though it was Monday and the holiday weekend was over. This morning the town was pretty quiet.

Idaho is a great scenic state. Not only does it have the big, tree-covered mountains of Montana (maybe not as big) but it also has a river flowing almost everywhere. There is a lot of water in Idaho. I’m so glad we got to see a small portion of Idaho and we plan to ...
