    ... this entry. One thing about Texas, they don't mind getting you where you are going pretty fast. State roads, not Interstate, have a maximum speed limit of 75. Once in New Mexico that dropped to 70. Still not bad. The only problem was entering small towns along the way. From 70 with little warning the limit dropped to 55 then 45 and then 35.
