And this is the point at which I fell asleep last night. I woke up at one point and thought I saw a light on. It wasn't enough to make me jump out of bed and finish unpacking.
Overall I had a pretty good night of sleep. I woke up properly at 6.33am and emerged from under the duvet. Unpacking finished and now it's time to head to the archives and see what they have in store for me today.
Woke at 7 to a brilliant blue sky. Collected good coffees from reception and got going by 8.45 after bidding goodbye to Angel. Took route 95 west through increasingly industrialised scenery, past Bridgeport and Norwalk, before turning north towards White Plains and the Hudson River.
