      ... restaurant on top of the hotel which is along the Columbia River. The river-walk also makes for a pleasant jog.

      Down the road on US2 is an interesting town named Leavenworth which is a Bavarian village, sadly I was not here during Oktoberfest but it looked like a great place to spend a day checking out shops and German fare.

      ... by water as most of them are islands. It is all about fishing and tourism. On the way there are beautiful fields growing lots of food such as corn and pumpkins. It seems to be such a rich area.

      We arrived early afternoon it was a short drive. Randy greeted us with his usual good humor. Dee does not get off work until 5. He showed us around their place which is impressive.
