Isi bought herself a new watch when getting a strap for her old one. The strap was more expensive than the new watch! We also got ourselves a Dutch English dictionary, (which we could not buy in England) even though we have managed before, we still find lots of words we do not understand.

... our next destination, we passed magnificent homes and gardens in an affluent area, willows weeping towards the canal and coots swimming by with nesting materials in their mouths . Going through locks and under numerous bridges, we watched the Dutch people riding their bikes home from work. There are many more bikers than cars.
