We headed toward the locks on the Erie Canal. We first had to lock through 7 locks in Oswego off of Lake Ontario to begin our journey down the Erie Canal. We were anxious and unsure of what to expect. Barry Gersch assured us that after we had locked the boat through 3 locks, we would be "pros" at the process.

Rv’s and busses have their own separate entrance, awesome, except there are 2 buses ahead of me.
