... very secluded and highly suspect motel of 'Howard Johnson' makes us feel like a mistake was made and why are we in a pre-scene of CSI.
We check-in, and make the scary walk to the very typical motel room. We have dinner at the local Waffle House - eat an insane amount of food and roll our full bodies back to hell.
Tucson we should have stayed in your 'downtown' area - why are you SO expensive? We survived and that is the positive message from this trip.

That night we went to Rincon Country RV Resort East, an upscale 55 and older modular home community. We took advantage of the beautiful facilities, doing laundry while we swam and hot tubbed. A quick fajita dinner and it was time for bed. I awoke around 3 a.m. to the sounds of coyotes serenading in the neighborhood....chicken skin time.

The remaining water in my camelpak was frozen from sitting overnight in the bear box so this was my only option until it thawed. I dropped in the tablets and headed back to camp to break down the tent.
