    ... After US customs made off with our passports, they finally concluded we were not drug smugglers or terrorists and let us go. The return border crossing took forty minutes so it was more a tour of a US Border Control Station than Mexico. Sorry, no pictures allowed.

    ... which is cheap but pretty basic. It's only 100 per night and seems clean.. We went to the Market place Restaurant for dinner which is around the corner... Live band of 2 playing 70s music and all the locals dancing and partying... Food was ordinary but had Alaska Amber ale which was pretty good.Hamburger was pretty bad though....the place closed at 9:00? So we are back at the motel for an early night.     We are still here in Tucson. The campground is lined with fruit trees - pink/white grapefruit, oranges, lemons/limes. It was pretty awesome...we were able to pick fresh fruit - especially the lemons and limes to go with our grey goose...LOL. Tucson is surrounded by mountains, it's too bad that the landscape gets littered by the high tension wires, etc. The mountains are really beautiful, especially the sunsets.
