      At Chicago airport waiting for plane to NY, we are not sure how we are going to manage getting to our accommodation from airport as we arrive in NY at peak hour, so we are thinking train! Could be interesting!!!!!!!! We could end up back in Canada if we are not careful!!!!! Bahahaha!!!!!!!! Ian wants to just catch a taxi but that could take days we think! We will see how ...

      Bob has been an angel in my recovery process. It can't be easy for him to want to help out a fiercely independent woman...now who could that be?...but he has been a trouper! We started walking the mall (with all the other old grunts) today and I am hoping that the daily stroll will get Bob out of the house a bit and give me back some leg strength!       My scheduled flight to Shanghai was delayed which would make me miss my flight to Bangkok. So working all the other options - found a way to go through Beijing to make it there as scheduled.

      Glad I was flying first class - the staff in the lounge was able to pull it off. They even went and retagged my checked bag to the correct flights.
