At Last!!
... The Nut'. Grant's father's was born in Forest a town not far from Stanley.
By chance the caravan park had a small skate ramp and trampolines so the kids had a great time and met the first of many 'friends'. All was going to plan until Stella twisted her ankle on the trampoline...so much for walking up 'The Nut' the next day....
We are still pinching ourselves that we are finally on our journey. Loving it already!

Last Full Day in Tassie.
... outcrop which apparently is still being dug up by archaeologist to find fossils. The rocks themselves have marks of old shells on them and some interesting markets. We spent a while here looking for fossils and rocks. Seeing the weather had become fine it was nice to spend some time in the sun. We came away with a few small rocks and lots of sand.
Tomorrow we will be heading to Stanley to the nut and then shipping off back to Melbourne.
